Gregory L. Haynes
Gregory L. Haynes received his B.A. degree in 1985 from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. degree in 1990 from the Emory University School of Law. Mr. Haynes has been a member of the Virginia State Bar for over 20 years. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Mr. Haynes is a business lawyer with a diverse legal background. He has counseled many types of business entities, including limited liability companies, partnerships and publicly traded corporations. Prior to joining Framme Law Firm, PC Mr. Haynes was in private practice. His practice focused on assisting family-owned and other closely held businesses, as well as estate and succession planning.
Mr. Haynes has served as in-house counsel for a start-up software development firm and as corporate counsel to a Fortune 50 international financial services company. He has also practiced with large, national law firms, including McGuireWoods and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. In addition, Mr. Haynes authored “The New Partnership Anti-Abuse Rule and Estate Planning” Virginia State Bar Trusts and Estates Newsletter, winter 1995.
As a part of the Framme Law Firm’s team of attorneys, Mr. Haynes uses his extensive experience in the areas of business succession planning, business taxation, trusts and estates, and drafting and negotiating employment agreements and real estate contracts to assist business clients. Mr. Haynes has additional experience with broker-dealer and insurance regulatory issues, as well as software licensing, distribution and maintenance issues.
